Ephedra
(sinica) Is Dead! (Well,
all most...)
![[Dividing Line Image]](images/div.gif)
On August 17, 2006, the FDA banned dietary supplements
containing ephedrine alkaloids, the natural herb ephedra sinica being the
strongest target of the ban. The ban also covered all other botanical sources
containing ephedrine alkaloids including all other species of ephedra and the
herb Sida cordifolia. However, the ban specifically permits
these ephedra products!
